MAY THE GEEK BE WITH YOU
As any Sci Fi fan knows (and let’s be honest, anyone who watches any media ever) this year Star Wars is returning with “The Force Awakens”!
Wanna-be Jedis everywhere are counting down the days to know the answers to crucial questions; like how does the bad guy with the crossguard light sabre NOT lose his legs by accident?
So in celebration of all things Star Wars in the lead up to this mega blockbuster, I bring to you some of the coolest homewares you can send your Imperial credits on!
We'll start with this gorgeous creation - old school music chic + light sabre battles on a clock = a damn good time. But don't fret music lovers! The creators promise that no still-playable records were harmed in the creation of their product. Mind you, if it was an Abba record that was defaced I'd probably pay them more...
Any true servant of the force will understand the hilariousness of this terrible pun product. Let Admiral Ackbar protect your house from furry invaders.
Use the force to keep that rain at bay!
Another terrible pun product - are you noticing a trend here? But how good is it?? During the day will Vader tempt you to the Dark Side...
Okay, I give up. I admit it, I have a pun problem. Any Star Wars fan will have heard this joke a million times but now you can bring the force - I'm sorry, fork - to your dinner table.
Bringing a new dimension to the word 'frozen', let Han keep your drinks cool in this mini fridge for that Star Wars movie marathon.
Don't get turned to the Dark Side - unless you're using this Darth Vader helmet toaster, in which case get both sides of your bread dark with a Star Wars brand.
This is a true fan's labour of love and now you can have your very own defeated Death Star burning merrily in your backyard in this firepit.
Maybe you won't be rushing out to fill your house with Star Wars chic any time soon, but geek homewares are a big deal and likely to get even bigger after the film is released. Keep it in mind maybe the next time you're buying something for your Jedi friend's housewarming. Until then though, I'm going to go back to Googling light sabre memes.
