Waterproofing retaining wall - Moisture issues in adjacent building

Safety barriers installed

Safety is very important, we needed to shut the area off to the public so barriers were installed.

Problem Identified

We found that the moisture barrier was not installed correctly

Rectification

We used an appropriate waterproofing membrane and applied it to the side of the bulding, created a flasing over the retaining wall and picked up the plastic membrane

Job Complete

We backfilled, compacted and paved the wall to original condition. The area of membrane you see will be hidden under a preformed flashing, installed by others,
